PANGEIART - ASSOCIAÇÃO CULTURAL
PangeiArt is a non-profit cultural association with initiatives in the area of the performing arts, music and education through the arts. PangeiArt's main aim is to promote innovative cultural initiatives that actively stimulate creativity towards cultural continuity and renewal, exploratory artistic expression and diversity in a contemporary context. It's also active in producing exchange projects in collaboration with artists and community partner organizations particularly in Africa, South America, USA and Canada. Since 2000, PangeiArt has been developing a network of partners among which are Chá de Caxinde, ADRA and Bismas in Angola, Associação Cultural Video Brasil, Escola Pracatum and Fundação Palmares in Brasil, Fundacion de Música and Fundacion Délia Zapata Olivella in Bogotá, Colombia, Newton Moraes Dance Theater in Toronto and others. In Europe, the Association has been actively developing partnerships with city councils, cultural centres and companies such as North Kesteven District Council, Leisure Connections and Arts NK in the UK.
In the last five years PangeiArt has developed projects with the support from the Prince Claus Fund, Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation, Instituto Camões, Portuguese Performing Arts Council, CNCDP/Portuguese Council of Ministers, Netherlands Institute for Southern Africa, EPAL Lisbon's Water Company, Visiting Arts/British Counci.A PangeiArt is a member of the Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity of UNESCO.

Pangeia Instrumentos Travelling Museum
The Travelling Museum is an itinerancy of the Pangeia Instrumentos project with exhibitions, workshops and performances implemented in collaboration with city councils, schools, community arts centers and other venues accross Europe and beyond. We are currently searching for partners to participate in the development and implementation of this project. Folk Songs for the Five Points
a project developed for The Tenement Museum in New York by our collaborator David Gunn with recordings and performances by Victor Gama, Guillermo E. Brown and William Parker taking place in the museum and in several locations throughout the city. A web site is being developed that establishes an active dialogue between physical spaces and a virtual sound map of the city with field recordings and production by David Gunn. Odantalan

Tsikaya
